RSS Supports Muslims: Director General Mohan Bhagwat

Mohan Bhagwat, the Director General of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has made a significant statement clarifying the organization’s stance towards Muslims. He emphasized that the RSS is not opposed to Muslims and that any misconceptions surrounding this issue are unfounded. According to Bhagwat, the RSS seeks to promote unity and understanding among all communities in India, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in a diverse nation. He articulated that the organization’s core values are rooted in the idea of a harmonious society where every individual, regardless of their religious background, can coexist peacefully and contribute to the nation’s development.

Bhagwat’s remarks come in the wake of ongoing debates and discussions regarding the RSS’s ideology and its perceived relationship with various religious communities, particularly Muslims. He urged people to look beyond stereotypes and understand the RSS’s mission, which is centered on nationalism and the welfare of all Indians. The Director General pointed out that the RSS has always stood for the dignity and rights of every citizen, regardless of their faith, and that fostering a spirit of brotherhood is essential for India’s progress.

Additionally, Bhagwat called for dialogue and engagement between different communities to dispel myths and foster a greater understanding of each other’s beliefs and practices. He stressed that misconceptions can lead to divisions, and it is crucial for society to come together to build bridges rather than walls. By promoting a narrative of inclusivity, the RSS aims to contribute positively to the socio-political landscape of India, ensuring that all citizens feel valued and respected. The organization, according to Bhagwat, is committed to working towards a future where every individual can thrive without fear of discrimination or prejudice based on their religion.
